Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy sets out the rules for processing and protecting the personal data of users using the Bit Cracker mobile application (hereinafter referred to as the "App").

1. What data do we collect?

As part of the App's operation, we process two types of data: data collected automatically and data provided voluntarily by the User.

A. Automatically Collected Data (Anonymous and Technical)

While using the App, external systems (such as Google Firebase and AdMob) may automatically collect:

• Device identifiers: A unique installation identifier (Firebase Installation ID) and an advertising identifier (Advertising ID / GAID), provided the user has consented to it.
• Activity data: Gameplay statistics, game progress (Bit Sort, Bit Invader), scores, time spent in the game, app crash information (Crashlytics).
• Technical data: Device model, operating system version, language settings, IP address (processed for country/city-level geolocation purposes).

B. Data Provided by the User

• Nickname: A randomly generated or user-set nickname visible on the leaderboards.
• Authentication Data (Optional): If you choose to link your anonymous account with a Google account, we receive your unique identifier (UID) and your email address from Google. This information is safely stored in our authentication system (Firebase Authentication) to manage your login access.
  • Important: We do not store your first name, last name, or profile picture in our database. They are fetched live from Google services solely to display them to you in your Profile.

2. For what purpose do we process data?

Your data is processed for the following purposes:

1. Providing services (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR):
   • Saving game progress (levels, stamina, unlocked features) in the cloud so you do not lose them after changing devices.
   • Supporting multiplayer game mechanics (global leaderboards).
2. Analytics and app improvement (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR):
   • Analyzing level difficulty (e.g., where players lose most often), which allows us to balance the gameplay.
   • Detecting and fixing technical bugs.
3. Advertising (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR - Consent):
   • Displaying Rewarded Ads, which allow you to restore energy (Stamina).
   • Ads are displayed only upon the user's explicit request (clicking the "Watch Ad" button).
4. Notifications (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR - Consent):
   • Sending Push notifications (e.g., about the availability of new features or fully recharged energy), provided you consent to it in your system settings.

3. External Services (Data Sharing)

The App uses services provided by Google Ireland Limited and its affiliates. Your data may be transferred to and processed on Google servers (including in the USA) based on standard contractual clauses.

Main partners:

• Google Firebase (Auth, Firestore, Cloud Functions): For authentication and database storage. Firebase Privacy Policy
• Google Analytics for Firebase: For statistical analysis of app traffic.
• Google AdMob: For ad delivery. AdMob may use your advertising identifier to personalize ads, provided you consent to it in the window (CMP) displayed upon the first launch. Google Privacy & Terms for Ads

4. Your Rights and Data Deletion

Under the GDPR, you have the right to access, rectify, delete, or restrict the processing of your data.

How to delete your account and data?

We respect your right to "be forgotten." The App has a built-in feature for permanent data deletion.

1. Go to the Profile screen.
2. Select the "Delete Account" option.
3. Upon confirmation, your data (including Nickname, leaderboard scores, game history, and Google account link) will be immediately and irreversibly deleted from our servers (Firestore & Firebase Auth).

You can also request data deletion by contacting us via email, providing your user identifier (available in the settings).

Right to lodge a complaint

If you believe that the processing of your personal data violates GDPR regulations, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. In Poland, this authority is the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (PUODO) (ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warsaw).

5. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical measures to protect your data. Communication between the App and the servers is encrypted (SSL/TLS protocol). Access to the database is secured by Firebase Security Rules, which prevent unauthorized access to other players' data.

6. Information for US Residents (California - CCPA/CPRA)

Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), California residents have specific rights regarding their personal information.

Sale of data: The App does not sell your personal data in the traditional sense (e.g., for money). However, we use the services of advertising partners (Google AdMob) who may collect device identifiers (Advertising ID) to personalize ads. Under California law, sharing these identifiers may be considered a "sale."

Your right to opt-out (Do Not Sell My Personal Information):

You can opt-out of ad personalization in your device settings (Android: Settings > Google > Ads > Delete advertising ID).

Within the App, in the Settings section, you can also withdraw your consent to process data for advertising purposes (if this option was displayed in the CMP window).

7. Children and Age Gate

Our App is directed to a general audience. We respect the privacy of our youngest users. The App features an Age Gate. For users who declare their age to be under 16, the system automatically blocks the collection of personal data, disables ad personalization, and adjusts marketing content to standards appropriate for children (in accordance with COPPA and GDPR). Age information is stored exclusively locally in the device's memory (AsyncStorage) and is never sent to the server. If you are a parent or guardian and you know that your child has provided us with personal data without your consent, contact us, and we will take steps to delete this information.

8. Changes to the Privacy Policy

We reserve the right to make changes to this Privacy Policy. We will inform you of any significant changes by updating the date at the top of this document or via an appropriate notice within the App.
